MY STORY
I am a first-generation student attending SFSU with similar struggles as my peers. I am grateful for the love that my support system provides and I strive to give that same kindness to my community.
It is unfortunate the number of people in the world who never get the opportunity to pursue their dreams. I am so lucky and grateful to have been able to love what I do. Since beginning my career in San Francisco, I have learned from the trained professionals in my field and elders in my campus communities. I still have much to learn from others in the industry and look forward to the lessons to come. I’m a hard worker, a team player, a force of positive energy, and I am excited to see what ways the world can benefit from my unique skill set.
BSU PRESIDENT
2022-2023
As the President of the first national Black Student Union, I worked daily to curate the best programming for our students. I created events, discussions, and annual awards showcasing Black Excellence to bring students fun and meaningful experiences. In honor of our fallen peer, I created the Annual Hassani Bell Awards to forever celebrate his work in the 2016 Ethnic Studies Hunger Strike. I completed my presidency and have continued to be an active member of the organization since my sophomore year of highschool.

This year I will be assisting 11 college campuses to work through the Bumble Hoey Ambassador program. We will be planning and executing events, completing a set task list every month, holding meetings, and promoting downloading the app and spreading our mission and values of Kindness. The program is evolving as we speak and new and exciting opportunities will arise so make sure to follow me on Instagram to keep up to date :)
